Just about to pick-up a new toy.

Does anyone else have one - and if so - can you offer any advice on adding naughty but to it?

Cheers

I can't, but my mate has one, and has all kinds of toys on his. He uses the Aprillia forum, whch by all accounts is very good.

Cheers.

Smaller front sprocket is about all they need. (Certainly the case with the older model)

Enjoy it. I really fancy one myself.

Which model? Cos the 04/05's onwards are a bit snatchy on the throttle response round town - apparently due to the Euro4 emissions requirements. A smaller front or larger rear sprocket helps, but the definitive cure is a set of cans and get your dealer to switch the ECU to Map 2 using the Axione factory tool. Smooths it out no end. Unfortunately it seems to have made mine a bit noisier too ...

Seconded - there's loads of helpful stuff on there. I'm in the process of working out how to sort the world's worst sidestand on the Falco and it's all there. If you feel the need to tweak your new toy, rest assured there's most likely someone who's already done it and written it up with pictures. Top site!

Steve.

It's brand new (06).

The end cans need to go - I'd quite like to get the titanium race cans - but I'd like to hear them first, as it currently sounds a little neutered in comparison to my 999R.

Which dealer do you use - as I'm not soure if I'll be returning to hte delaer where I bought my bike from again.

Thanks in advance

Sorry for the delay Anjum, been in Florida

I was going to get either the Akras or carbon Arrows. In the end my dealer offered me an almost new pair of titanium Akras for £400 including switching the map so that made my mind up for me. They certainly sound a whole lot better, especially without the baffles.

I'm in South Wales and use Kickstart in Port Talbot who I have to say have been great throughout - not too pushy, gave decent discounts off all the kit etc. and have sorted a couple of minor issues quickly.
