Finding the boss
Discussion
What's the easiest way to get hold of the name and address of the boss of a large company (eg makers of electrical items by the name of Ser*is)?
Also who is the best boss to write to if, for example, a washing machine that's only 2.5 years' old for example blows up for example because of alledgely seriously cr@p manufacture?

They are owned outright by a large Italian manufacturer.
I've actually just come back from Italy with the MD as my company buys a lot of non Servis product from them via Servis UK.
From Google : www.ertweekly.com/Default.aspx.LocID-05nnew036.RefLocID-05n004.Lang-EN.htm
You should contact the Service Dept in he first instance and let them know that you believe there is a serious fault with the machine. Also state that you'd like someone to call you to discuss.
If it's that serious an issue someone WILL deal with it.
They've put a lot of product into the market place so its unlikely to be inherently dangerous.
Give them a chance, I'm sure they'll deal with it satisfactorily.
I'm sure you don't need to do anything drastic yet such as go to the Mds home address, etc, etc.

You don't have any dispute with Servis (unless you bought it direct) - liability rests with with whoever you bought it off.
Update.
Thanks to Stewart for the MD details.
That seems to have done the trick as I got a reply to my emails after saying I was going to take the MD through the Small Claims Court quoting his name and registered address.
They sent and engineer round today who is going to repair the machine FOC once he's ordered the bits.
Only problem is I've already bought another washer/dryer as the other half was about to boil me Trev!
