Handsome chap.
Last night I had to clear out my garage ready for the plasterers to come this weekend. I have never seen so many spiders, or any so big. They were all fleeing from my broom, and whenever they encountered each other a little scuffle would ensue.
All good fun, until I got bored and squashed them all with a hammer.

thats cruel.
No it's not...they don't know what hit them! Very quick and painless.
M.
still cruel to kill an animal for no reason though
You should of watched Gordan Ramsays F word last night. It showed pigs and they get castrated and detailed whilst awake. NO anaesthetic or pain killer of any form. Poor little things squealed there hearts out and what made it worse was the fact that they were babies.

Ahhh, be carefull now, I know exactly what you are talking about, having taken part in the process many a time whilst employed in the pig industry.
One thing to be aware of, if you even just PICK UP a young piglet, the first thing it does it open its mouth, the second thing is squeal like you are killing it,CONSTANTLY, and this will continue, unabAted, until you put the little bugger back on the floor.
I take the point it may seem barbaric, but we used to do 100's every month, and a day later they are all fine.
