A round of applause please for Mr Chips Away.

He came out to my place of work and repaired the 'dumb-ass' damage to my bike when it fell over. A small scratch on the fairing, scuffed mirror and generator cover all sorted for seventy quid. The dealer wanted fifty for the mirror alone!!!

Very slightly orange peely, but that will tighten/polish out over the next few weeks.
Generator cover paintjob is undetectable, and the mirror looks like new.

Am I pleased or what. Oh, and I'd recommend ebay or David Silver for spares. I got a spare mirror off ebay for sixteen quid!

My baby's all fixed. Magic!

Make sure you leave the pain alone for a few days to harden before polishing!!

Yep, I'm pretty bloody pleased. You really can't tell it's been touched up. He also polished the end of the clutch lever, which had a scrape I hadn't noticed. The paint on the generator cover is a PERFECT match. Interested to see if the heat taints it at all.

I'm going to knock up some tasteful decals on my sticker machine for the bike now. Maybe just a couple of racer stylee fairing decals.

IF anyone wants anything specific let me know - just getting started with my own business, custom painting, decals etc. We're a way off a 'Dream Machine' paintjob just yet, but we'll get there!

You could've saved some money and got your kid to do it instead! He sounded quite handy with the wet and dry and a spray can!!

No thanks - he probably picked a few tips up from me spraying my RC planes. I wish he'd just owned up!!! Would have saved me hours of cleaning!!!
