Sport headlights - sidelight change - unit front or rear ?
Discussion
The Sport has three lights in each cluster, the bottom one being full beam, the top two being headlights. The two topones have a sidelight bulb in the same unit. Only one of the four sidelight bulbs works. So my questions are:
1- do I access the bulbs by taking off the perspex light cover then the light lens etc ? Or via the clip underside ?
2- are all 4 sidelights supposed to work ?
3- the sidelights stay on even when headlights are on. My twisted way of thinking wonders if the 3 failed ones are contributing to the large voltage drop I see when I do switch the headlights on ? You see my car can't run headlights and fans simultaneously without running out of volts.
I hope it's nice and bright all day tomorrow at RAF North Weald !
cheers

Roger, thought you posted that you would not be messing with the car as fully sorted now....haha, anyways the bulbs are accessed by removing the perspex cover and then single screw holding plastic protection backing- bulbs then accessible. Not sure on your set-up with what seems like an extra set of sidelights. On mine main is bottom one, inner top are side light and dip/main and outer top are indicators, there is a hole for a sidelight bulb in the indicator light, but this is not used, ie its an open hole, would suspect that someone has added a bulb to yours....if you are indeed running 2 top headlights this would at least improve dip lighting, mine is not good on dip. Where are your indicator lights?
