Enjoyin my Chiemara on one of the best days of the year, when I had to go and refuel.

The dreaded 'hot-start' malady hit me, and I had to sit at the petrol station for 20 mins waiting for the car to cool in order to start it.

Perversely, I have just received from Mod-Wise a hot start kit.

My problem is that I have a chronic back condition (no discs between my bottom 4 vertebrae) and can't get into the passenger footwell to fit the kit.

Is there anyone put there in the Mansfield area that might be willing to fit the kit for me? I am quite happy to pay, give beer tokens etc etc.

I know it sounds a feeble excuse, but I just can't physically get down amongst the electrical vipers nest in the footwell to fit the kit.

Thanks in anticipation

Andy

Were it to happen again before you fit the kit, just get a push start. (I've done this umpteen times with no probs)

Cheers for the reply. However, I thought that push starting a car with a catlytic converter (which I forgot to mention it has) can push neat fuel through the cat, and lose 8 of it 9 lives!

Andy, if i were in the area i would fit it, or if you are down my neck of the woods. I know all about bad backs after my Horse lorry fell of its jacks, trapping me under the front axle, my fault, complete prat.

Can do, but as I said I've done it umpteen times.
