A while back there was a flurry of people requiring the software for S6's, but most people reported that it did not work and that possibly there was an other version floating about, also one person said they had a copy but couldnt let it into the public domain. Any way, ive just received an email confirming that the software does indeed work on the Speed 6. The car in question has a mbe941 ecu.

Just thought I would let you all know, so its worth a try.

Looks like the latest leads have just become availible too. www.clever-trevor.net/parts.php It looks right, and no more chopping into the existing wiring loom to get a plug!

Excellent.

I have installed this software on my laptop, but everytime I close the program it shuts my laptop down. Anyone know why?

Not sure if it works with the Speed 6 yet, I've got to buy the lead from Clevor Trevor.

cheers

Mr F,

Tried to email you at your work address and got a delivery failure, have you moved jobs?

Just for you info I had this back from the dealer I part ex'ed the Chimaera with. Looks like she has gone to a good home.

Martin,
thanks for sending the photos through, the car looks lovely, I'm glad you're having fun with it.
The Chimaera has gone to an enthusiast, the guy came with his friend and they BOTH bought Chimaeras from me, so there is a chance you'll see it around.
Enjoy the rest of the summer with the Griff,
Regards,
Tony

Cheers

I think he means that that is the way the program was written, I dont think that there is an option or configuration to stop it shutting down the PC. You could try being very posh and have a specific laptop runing only the TVR software, then this feature may be usefull!

The simplest way to stop it shutting down your laptop is to open a text file in notepad and make an edit or two but don't save it.

When the diags exit and try to shut down the laptop (or log you off on XP) a notepad dialog will pop up prompting you to save the changes.

The dialog will have yes, no and cancel buttons.

Click cancel and the shutdown will stop.
