Had the T350t on Tunit's rolling road in Chorley this morning, fantastic.

Car gave out 339.8bHP at 7298 rpm. gave 263.1 ib/ft of torque at 5544 rpm. Which when you factor in the effects of the tropical heat we are having up North at the moment the operator said it would have easily exceeded the factory quoted 350BHP.

Was an awsome sight watching the car stood still, doing 154mph in 4th gear!!!!!!!

154 in 4th? What sort of revs is that?

Maybe I have a different ratio'd gearbox to you but there's no way I'd get 154 out of 4th in mine (private runway, naturally )

Edit: Mine is geared so that it does about 75 in 2nd, 110 in 3rd, and about 130 in 4th (roughly, funnily enough I don't go there that often so can't be sure)

Could it be something to do with air resistance? With a rolling road being stationary there's no air resistance to account for so the revs/gears/speed are skewed from real-life driving scenarios. I don't profess to know, just an . Although I guess the rollers could provide the equivalent resistance

My rolling road read out said 148mph in 4th. That's at 7400rpm. 154 seems close enough.

Standard gearing.

the 3.6 exceeds 8000 revs so it sounds possible to me.

One day I'll get round to having the Saggy tested. I've done several motorbikes and it really is an incredible sight and noise. My zx12r spat fire on the overrun and put out 180bhp at the back wheel!!! Yes it is fast as ****!

I think a lot of 4.0S Speed six owners might be afraid of what their car puts out given TVR have re rated the engine at a lower level, but my car is so quick it doesn't really matter whether it's putting out 360 or 390 bhp. But I'm confident it would get a good result as I ran it in impeccably and always treat it with mechanical sympathy, which for me means letting it rev at the right time too.

Also just a layman's theory but I reckon cars dyno tested before they hit 6000 miles won't be using fully synthetic oil. Surely the friction reducing properties of fully synthetic will produce more power? Maybe it's behind some of the disappointing results.

My dyno readout was to 141 mph in 4th - which was 6456rpm.

We did run it higher once or twice as power was climbing past the 376 it made but only a few HP more so not worth pushing the engine for, didn't get any printout/data past the above data.

It was at 7298 rpm, rev limiter kicked in.

Car is standard apart from the obligatory sports exhaust, which sap power, 10k on the clock, standard gearbox.

Car was owned by the factory for most of its life, don't think they have done anything to the engine, doesn't feel any quicker than my previous Tam, only quieter and smoother.
