Ive downloaded PS CS2 from adobe, and could use a little help, all beginner stuff.

How do you open the browser window, which lets you browse thumbs?
FILE > BROWSE and
CRTL + SHIFT + O just open adobe bridge.

im not 100% sure i understand what you mean by browsing thumbnails. i do it like this:
file. open. change view to thumbnails.

is that what you mean?

Thanks Chrissie.

My "windows file and fax" viewer is broken, I cant repair it. This means that I cant view thumbnails on my pc using the windows thumbnail viewer.

That said (not to be confused with the viewer below) many graphics programs have their own in-built thumbnail browser. I currently use a licensed version of Adobe Photoshop Elements, and below is the browser program which I can open by pressing SHIFT + CTRL + O

I cant seem to find out how to open this view/browser in CS2, though.

That Bridge thing is the Browser. I think it's some allencompassing doohickey to link browsing, scanning, importing etc together, ie it "bridges" all the various ways of bringing files into PS.

On the left should be a couple of tabs labelled "Favourites" and "Folders" - click on Folders and it should start to make sense.

Did you copy the folder to the plugins folder rather than the files?

How very odd. Tried rebooting the PC? Can't understand why it wouldn't work and I don't think I've encountered the problem myself.

Click on "Use Adobe Dialogue" (bottom left in that screenshot above) and that will probably be fixed.

Ratings can be added to any file to allow you to sort them.

Try these

http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/phot

Alternativly buy the software and get the manual.....

Hope you aren't saying on a public forum that you can 'help' with registering the software rather than letting Adobe help Bob himself?

It's there on my CS2. File... Open... Click button in bottom left hand corner.

While we're on the beginner photoshop questions.....

I took some pictures at a wedding at the weekend and unfortunately I've got a load of lens flare on them.... over the groom's head (Thankfully they are only my photos and nothing important)

Been looking for tutotials and googling but can only find ways of adding lens flare not removing it.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks,

Steve
