Some of you may remember I posted a while back about a trip to the Isle of Man in September. I have just received the following details from Stuart.

MANX CLASSIC CAVALCADE 2003
ISLE OF MAN
18th-22nd September
At last this is a communication to confirm the details of the tour planned for later this year. Rather than provide erroneous information, I chose to wait until some critical details were confirmed before circulating.
MAGIC HOLIDAYS, ISLE OF MAN are organising the trip and booking should be made through them, unless you are a TVR Car Club member, they should book through me please to co-ordinate our party.
NON TVRCC members book with:
Magic Holidays, P.O. Box 5, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 2BY. Tel: 08457 585833,

This event is open to all motor enthusiasts regardless of marque and will be capped at 400 cars. Aston Martin, Porsche, Bentley I know have been invited so far and it is likely that MX5 and Morgan owners who are regular visitors to the island will be represented too.
OUTLINE PROGRAMME:
Thursday, 18th:
Ferry to island leaving the mainland early afternoon.
Arrive in Douglas by 6 p.m.
Transfer to Hotel.
Welcome reception at Peel (west coast) House of Manannan.
Friday, 19th:
Closed road drive to show what the Isle of Man is all about. The drive will start at the bottom of Ballaugh Glen travelling to the mountain road at Brandywell Cottage where the closed run will end. Thereafter on open roads to Injebreck, Cronk ny Mona and on to the TT Grandstand (two years ago we filled the pit lane with 70 TVRs.. It was an impressive sight!
Saturday, 20th:
North Shore at Ramsay: Road closure to cater for up to 400 cars!
Alternatively, track session at the airfield circuit at Jurby. This is an additional cost option, £100. Do both! A minimum of 30 cars will be required to organise the track session.
Sunday, 21st:
Closed mountain road run from Ramsay to Bungalow. You've all heard of "Mad Sunday" during the TT races .... This is ours! On open roads and then on to the Grandstand.
On Sunday evening the finale will be a gala dinner.
Monday, 22nd:
Head home on an early morning ferry.
COSTS
£365 per head, two sharing a car and hotel room.
Includes: ferry, B&B, reception on Thursday evening, entertainment on Friday evening and Gala Dinner on Sunday evening, guided tours during the daytimes.
Track Session: additional cost £100
Single rate supplement: add £30 ferry and £10 per night B&B
Deposit required when booking: £40 per head
It promises to be a great weekend and provides the opportunity to drive on the TT circuit whenever you wish. What other trip promises that?
See you there!
