Had a run in with a skyline high comp turbo and after he beat me we stopped at a lay by he said thats as near as anyone has been to keeping up to me in the past year what have you done to it i replied "its the same as it was from the factory maybe a few BHP less lol due to wear and tear" . Just like Allan wells V Maurice Green he said he shook my hand and said well done dont let the old lady die. Theres a new TVR Wedge fan in the making if ive ever seen one.

I had a similar run with a mate in his 350z (with its traction control and all that bolloxs)

He thrashed me but said that he couldn't understand why I wasn't disappearing in his rear view!!!

Like you say, considering there is nearly 20 years tech advance we can still scare the big boys in their 20K new cars. If only we could stop the bloody things.....queue FrenchTVR...

Hmm - 350i not bad, but try adding 1/2 a litre and a supercharger. It puts paid to the turbo bolt-on boys. Above all - keep having fun!
