Don't know anything about these cars except people on here always seem to be looking for them.

One as came up at my local Indy www.Kennydunn.co.uk.

PORSCHE 911 964 RS Manual, Coupe, Petrol, 81,000 km, Rubystone. STUNNING LOOKER, good example of these RARE models - MUST BE SEEN! £34,911.

No affiliation with garage, just tring to give a PH first shout, appologies if its to expensive.

These cars keep going up in asking price. Thats pretty leggy for that money. I wonder if people are really paying these amounts.

Not sure what kind of money 964 RS's are changing hands for but www.specialistcarsltd.co.uk/porsche_sales/911RSRSILVER2676.htm they seem to be being offered a big money at the moment!!

2nd time I have listed this car today. No association honestly, just couldnt believe the money they are commanding.

The silver car at Malton's is described as an RSR (factory welded-in full cage) which might go some way to justifiying the high price...

The silver car is a 964 RS Clubsport (NGT M003). Some people make mistake of calling them an RSR. The RSR is a race car that was Turbo body with a 3.8 engine and would be around £80k.

Fickle lot, Porsche buyers. Couldn't give em away a few years ago. Probably be 50k by 2008.
If you've got a few quid to invest, go and get a decent GT3MK1. Should be worth a fortune by the time you retire..

What do you think will be £50k by 2008?

By the looks of the Specialist Cars Ad they are getting there now. I know its a Clubsport, but didnt think the used cars (eg, not garage queens) were at that end quite yet!

I'm not convinced they are either. Seems to be some opportunism/optimism going on with these things at the moment. Even the LHD ones in Europe are being advertised at high 30s now. They were high 20s a year ago!

H&S had a low mileage Maritime N-GT RS for 70K Euros and I now of one that went for £62K.

Good low mileage cars are selling at more than £50K already.

I'm off to get a 964Cup and a 3.8RSR instead of my boring shares!

Much more fun to own too!

I'm guessing you are referring to the Viper Green car for £62k?

Also which RSR are you buying? The Black one that H&S are advertising?

I wish but 120K Euro is alot for a race car. "There are no virgins in the bordello"

Quote from well known German salesman!

Prefer the Maritime car but I have 2 race cars already!

Good investment for someone.

964 RS is the only car I wished I had owned it looks fantastic and still goes very well on track,,, I love following them around when they are on 3 wheels.....

price wise its so close to a MK1 GT3 now, one of these cars is over valued or under valued!!
