Given the small numbers and the "maybes/probably's" and also the cost of booking a mini bus plus administering it (collecting money) etc, I propose that if people still want to do this trip then 6 seater taxis are used.

The round fare in a normal 4 seater taxi was £30 last year which works out at £7.50 per head for 4. If a 6 seater charges the same and is full then this brings it down to £5 per head which is very reasonable.

I have the telephone numbers of a couple of taxi companies from the area and would ask that someone who wants to go emails me and heads this up as the booking name will need to be the name of someone who will actually be in the taxi (I wasnt planning on going myself).

Suggest the people who wanted to go get together at the control tent and agree on what they want to do. Graham has some local taxi numbers with rates.

Yeh..this was/is the Saturday afternoon trip for those who dont want to drink beer/look at cars all afternoon (ie partners?)...nip into Straftford shopping, sightseeing, get your hair done etc etc....
