Tyre Presures .......Again I know!

Over the weekend I had 4 new boots fitted. Toyo T1-r's. Go they are soft, in every way. I used to run Bridgestone and had them F - 22psi R - 24psi. I currently have the Toyos at the same levels and while the ride is smoother, it fells like ridding a jelly! For those of you that run T1-R's what presures do you have them at.

They will feel different until bedded in And that could take a long time the way you drive

Try a few psi up and see how they feel

I made the same move earlier in the summer and e-mailed TOYO and got a very helpful reply the same day.

The recommendations for the T1Rs is 26 p.s.i all round. (slightly softer side wall technology)

I would also support Seasider's 'bedding in' note. Not the bit about the drivng style though!

Try 24 front, 26 rear. Seem to be the ideal IMHO.

Tried Toyo, but the guy is not in until tomorrow. I think I will do the 24/26 before trying the 26 all round, but I feel it may well come to that as they are really soft!

Been running 24/26 for 2 years on Toyo's and they are great. Bedding in takes a few hundred miles so don't go mad until they have scrubbed in.

I had the same "soft sidewall" bouncy experience when I switched from Bridgestone Expedia S02 to TOYO Proxes. I actually grounded the exhaust over an uneven "B" road! With the Bridgestones I ran 22F and 24R now with TOYOs I am at 25F and 29R. Works for me and thinking I may increase the fronts to 26psi
