I'm looking for a C5 at the moment and for a 2000, ignoring one I saw for £13k, they seem to start around £19,000. Pretty decent price imo.

I thought I'd check parkers.co.uk for a laugh and I couldn't believe the figures I was seeing..

Chevrolet Corvette Coupé
5.7 V8 2d Auto 2000/X
Average mileage: 50,000 miles
Cost New ('00) £ 37805
Franchised Dealer £ 11590
Independent Dealer £ 10670
Private Good £ 10030
Private Poor £ 7910
Part Exchange £ 8555

That's just WAY out.
What's that all about, I've always considered them to be rather on the ball.
Obviously can't cope with US cars.

Just sounding off.

The prices on Parkers are a joke for run of the mill stuff, never mind specialist gear. They seem to just apply a standard depreciation formula rather than proper research.

Their is no Guide price For Corvettes at my Work we use Glass's & CAP the only one that ever showed up was a Cadillac STS because they sold them here in right hand drive like the Blazer but Corvettes all they do is take list price when new & work out to be about 45%- less after 3 years & workback each month! It rubbish, American car dealers put them up for what they know they can get Chris Graham is always good on his prices but then compare him with some like american carriage he must be useing a guide from 1998 to price his Corvettes in today How Much!! A good C5 98 should be 13-14k a 99 15-16 2001 coupe 20-21k a 2003 23-24k dealers will ask a bit more Aerican car imports have a nice yellow one for sale. But try & ask parkers to find you one???
