Key fob battery flat ??

Was just falling asleep last night after replacing the batteries in my Key fob (like you do), when a thought popped into my head...... what would I have done if I locked the car and couldn’t open it because they were flat??

Is there a way of opening the car without the remote control?? Obviously don’t want this on public forum, and hopefully wont need the information... but its always good to know. Please can someone e-mail me if there is a way.

As my key fob remote was playing up today (when I opened it the little button thingy had slipped - easy to fix) I had the same thoughts.
How do I get in if it packs up altogether and I'm miles from home where my spare keys live?

Thats what got me thinking when i was trying to get it back together...... stuck in some haunted wood with rabied badgers
