Just how many seconds are there between now and next Friday morning? Why? 'Cos that's when I pick up my S3 and I'm counting every one of them.

It's a gorgeous mica red one that's had much TLC lavished on it for the last 5 years by Paul and was all arranged by Rob Ingleby (that man again)- many thanks Rob.

I guess that I'll become a TVR nut like the rest of you on here very quickly and become a regular.

Off now to sort some insurance - that'll be fun!

None!!

I picked up the car yesterday and as it was such a beautiful day, drove all the way home (3 hours) with the top down. Brilliant!! What a wonderful experience. I think I'm going to enjoy this.

The list of mates, pals of mates and relations who want a spin show no sign of diminishing and I havn't started on the repeat requests yet.

Treat the top like an umbrella, only to be used in the rain. To me anyone driving with top on, on a dry day is wasting the car. Obviously you ignore MGFs and MX5 drivers as most of them dont realise they are driving convertables.
