Spotted Alfa SZ - Didcot Services

Spotted a lovely red Alfa Romeo SZ yesterday evening at Didcot (sp?) services at around 6pm, reg J7** JOU. First one I have ever seen in the metal, and I did wonder if it was a PHer?!

I was having a good lear at one at the Silverstone Classics on Sunday. Lovely bit of kit seriously having a think about getting one. Though I am told by a mate that has tried one that I probably wouldn't fit (6,4" ). Research and owners views required me thinks.

I supoose technically we saw them in the plastic rather than the metal

Worth checking out. One of my friends is about your height and when he was in the passenger seat of the RZ his eye-line was level with the windscreen header rail, but I think the RZ has a lower windscreen line than the SZ.

Disappointingly, I used Didcot services probably every week for two years, but was I ever 'spotted'? No.

That's a bit of a worry. I'm guessing It'll probably be a bit like the GTV. I can get in and its fine for a bit of a blas but you don't want to be in there for long. Not ideal for a long term ownership proposition. I'll have to go and have a test.
