Rip-Shifter Race or Street?
Discussion
I have been looking at buying the legendary Rip Shifter but have realised that there are two models. The tuning shops in OZ say they tend two fit more often than not the race model and that the UK versions are mostly street versions. Does anyone know the difference and which is the best option to go for?
Basically the street version retains the factory rubber insulator at the base of the stick, the other version does away with this in favour of a solid steel stick. The downside of this is that they can sometimes resonate/vibrate.
In other words, the steet version is more refined. For a road car i would recommed the street version.
