best deal on 18" rear 997 tyres ?

i need some new back boots fairly urgently. best local price (north yorkshire) was kwik fit in harrogate ! (argghhh, I'd rather not use kwik fit as I've read not many good things about them) £190 each fitted for Continental Sport Contact 2 N0 (265x40x18)

Anyone bought them anywhere (on tinternet) or locally for less recently ?

My front's are like new. car has done just short of 11k miles. what wear is 'average' on a 997 - if that isn't a stupid question ?

Apparently nobody keeps them in stock, and continental uk won't have new stock until mid august.

Have you tried North Easten Tyre & Exhaust at Clifton Moor? They did me a good deal on a SportContact2 for my GTI the other week. Perhaps it's more relevent that they also did me a set of PZeroes for my old 996 a couple of years ago. Best price I could find around York.

I emailed blackcircles and they offered me £190 each for them...thats a reasonable deal and i'll use them again I think. I had the A4 cabrio P-Zero's changed by them earlier in the year, and they offer a good service.
