Right the 964 will be on the road in the next couple of days.

Quick question I have a set of 964 rs suspension, (front and rear struts and front springs)
I always feel my 964 to be a bit soft, but at the same time dont want it bouncing and crashing over bumps as the area I live doesn't have smooth roads, so my question is will the standard RS suspension without the solid top mounts etc present on an Rs give me a nice firm but compliant suspension?

No

But 993RS front struts in the mix probably would.

Remember, everything is a trade-off between performance on track with silverstone smooth tarmac, and ride comfort and compliance on sh1tty B roads.

I never thought the standard RS suspension was too bad, but some people go crying to their chiropractor after a trip to the newsagents. It's no harder than a Caterham or Ultima, but then it's no Lexus either.

Depends what you'll use it for.

Trackwork, RS suspension will be fine. Lots of driving on non-motorway roads. Try the 993RS struts.

Hmmm, its tricky because I dont mind stiff suspension either, put it this way at the moment its wallowy, and just wants tightening up through the twisties, the back is not far off perfect for me, so I'm going with the standard springs and rs shockers, I'll try the front rs set up and see how it goes, if its painfull I'll have a hun for 993 rs struts.
