Can anyone recommend a rolling road in the north that has experience of both the OMEX ECU's and the RV8. By north I mean somewhere between nottingham and Newcastle.

Any idea how much it would cost, assuming the ECU had a basic map on it and just required fine tuning?

First port of call would be Trackcar Solutions in chesterfield, although there is another one around there that joo used to use before getting his own rollers.

Cheers Iain. I've been trying to ring Jules on the mobile number listed on his site, no answer at the minute. I'll keep trying.

Hi Peter,i used Nobles in chesterfield to get my Omex 710 mapped and darren there did a great job. This was before Julian had his rolling road at Track Car Solutions though, and was the road he always used until he got his own.It cost about £240ish from memory, that was to map completely new maps from a base map where it would only tickover, and mapping for both fuel and ignition of course. If i were in the same position now, then i would go to joo,as he now has experience of the Omex, after mapping mine, and i know he would also do a top job

I'll keep trying him tomorrow. Poor bloke must struggle to get any work done for the phone ringing. Everytime I tried ringing this afternoon he was engaged...
