A question for you:

I've got a Cerb that was fitted with an Emerald ECU by you a few years ago.

Andy at APM has currently got the car and one of the things I asked him to sort out was the aircon.

Apparently the reason it isn't working is because the Emerald ECU simply doesn't give any instructions to the air-con side of things, so it doesn't do anything! (at least this is how I understand it)

Is there a workaround to enable me to keep the performance benefit of the ECU, but keep cool at the same time?

yeah the emerald doesn't control the aircon, but then neither does the MBE .. all the mbe does do is allow a signal pass-thruogh for the aircon to work that isn't present on the emerald, there's no cut off for revs, throttle or any of the other stuff that's supposed to work on the MBE so you can just do a quick rewire to the system to suit.

I'll send andy a wiring diagram to make it work.
