where is the boost pressure gauge measuring the boost?

Self explanatory, where is the mechanical boost pressure gauge plumbed into the system? At what point is it measuring the boost? Anyone know?

On the 3 litre it's taken from the inlet manifold, assume 2.5 L will be the same .
