T350 Experience
Discussion
Some of you might have seen a couple of posts from me a little while back as I've been thinking about taking the plunge on a T350.
I decided to hire one for a couple of days to see if I could adjust to it from my Modded Evo and thought I'd post on how I got on -
The car was an 04 T350T in Dark Metallic Red with Red and Cream full leather interior. It had about 20000 miles on the clock and had been treated pretty poorly as it was fairly tatty. I felt a bit sad for it as I doubt it had ever visited a TVR dealer/specialist from the moment it was built.
Anyway, on to the actual experience....
I really enjoyed it. I did 500 miles in 2 days and the more I drove it the more confident I became and the more I was throwing it around and getting my foot down. The car had the standard exhaust and after going in one at the dealers with the sports exhaust I can tell anyone considering it that it's a total must have. I wanted the popping and banging. Maybe it's not as capable or quick as my Evo on the road, but then my Evo doesn't get the head turns and thumbs up the T350 does. In just 2 days I had numerous "TVR only" moments with a few particular ones that stick in my mind. I had group of kids waiting outside my flat so they could talk to me about the car, a women coming in to a take away just to ask me if it was my car as she really loved it and wanted to know everything about it and another guy shouting at me while I was at the light for me to rev the car.... which I did.... and he practically wet himself. Oh... and a load of waves and thumbs ups.
So, would I trade in my Evo for one? Yep... but maybe it's an easier decision now as I've really outgrown the Evo and can only see the Chav in it. I think it's time for a change, so I'll be keeping my eye out for the right T350T when it comes up.

Good man! Its not all about how fast you proceed, more about how you proceed.
There are a couple of good looking Targas for sale in the classified section at the moment. Just get a good warranty and I'm sure you'll be a happy camper.
If you're after one of the faster ones (i.e. a red one) then I might be persuaded to part with mine.
