Lovey things. Don't come up for sale that often. Got that same swaggering class as the Espada had later

dink - sure you're an octane reader - but in case you missed it theres apparrently a full Espada buyers guide in the forthcoming October issue (due beginning September).

Was away on business the past few days and read this months octane cover to cover - great bugatti feature including a drive in a (replica) 57SC Atlantique. Awesome!

Two Espadas in ocatane for sale this month - both for 16k or less. I am really really tempted. But the mrs requries a work car for 20pa so figure the 16k will go on an Alfa GT rather than SA's finest mores the pity...

One day I will have one - I just need the garage space!

Apart from the latest QP, the QP1 is the most valuable!

I like the big 'friendly' windscreen.

Missed this!
Look forward to eharing all about it - when I sold my 3200 I was a fag papers breadth away from buying the Mistral that was up for sale at Runneymede Motors. Got concerned about running costs, and also the reliability factory for enjoying things like le mans etc and the idea fizzled out. Another one on the collection list - with the Bora, espada, QP 1 and 3500 GT, Khamsin and Fiat 8V Berlinetta Zagato, Ferrari 250GTE etc etc...

I do love the mistral!

They are priced so oddly though - I've seen cars for sale under 20k - apparrently in good nick... Then there are others for sale at over 50k.

I guess restoration work on them is cripplingly expensive and would perhaps account for the price differentials...
