Ok Peeps, (website numpty alert)

My sister in law has a website up and running and she can see who has visted it.

Her prob is that the same IP addy is looking at pages but never more that a second or 2, about 3 times a day.

Google is charging her for these hits via adwords.

Is it a search engine continually prehaps??

Yours

Google should be filtering out spiders so if it is a search engine you should not be billed for it.

Read up on click fraud if you fancy wanting to start hating google... Otherwise post the IP here (or send it to Jamie) or type it in to the whois databse searches on these sites till you get a hit:

www.ripe.net/
www.arin.net
www.apnic.net/

If you don't get a hit on any of those it's not in Europe Asia or the US.

Without wanting to say too much, the clicks themselves were coming FROM google.. so I think some crossed wires here.

Googlebot's indexing adwords? *rolls on floor laughing*
You think they'd program their own spider to not trigger the advertising system.
