Any of you chaps replaced your C5 tyres with non OEM types? I will need a set of 4 in a couple of months, and have decided to stick with stock sizes, and to stay with run flats. After a bit of a rummage on the net, it seems the correct sizes can be had in runflats from Bridgestone, Pirelli, Goodyear, Michelin and I think Yokohama. Anyone tried any of the non-goodyear ones? At the moment I am leaning towards the Bridgestone RE050 rft based on talking to dealers. Any advice from you more experienced C5 owners would be appreciated. In the meantime I'm off to Micheldever to get my rears removed so I can fit the new pressure sensors. The flat rt rear and flat left rear warnings are driving me nuts! Front ones are ok, after relearning them, and the new ones were recognised ok even though they were on the floor !
Cheers.

Good question as my fronts need replacing very soon. After 25k miles, the OE tyres seem to last pretty well, so I will probably stick to them if they are available unless anyone else has any opinions

I have the Kumho Ecsta's on the Z06 but they are 265 and 295 widths which are not the same as the standard C5.

I am looking for a pair of rear wheels for a Z06 for drag racing so if anyone has any lying about and they would like to sell them I am in the market for a pair of rears.

I hope you can, but doubt you can get Michelins. I have just recently replaced my worn set of SP2's with a 2nd set - great roadholding and I got 35K out of the first set (that's why they are more expensive than most!). I wanted to go for their runflats but they only did them for the font wheel size and not the rears. Could have been vice versa. That was only 2 months ago, of course things change.

Yes, but I use Falken non-runflats in standard sizes. No complaints.

Thanks for the feedback, I have a couple of months to figure it out. Went to Micheldever today, got my rear tyres removed so I could fit the new TPM sensors. Cleared the BCM DTCs and trained all 4 sensors, and hey presto, now have all 4 pressures displayed with no codes or annoying warnings! Micheldever guys - great. Were waiting for me - no queueing - and did the tyres in 15mins while I did the laptop and magnet bit. Friendly and very efficient, and his tyre prices look hard to beat, but I'll try ! Thanks again.
