Dorset Dawdle - WELL DONE BOB!
Discussion
I'll second that. Thanks, Bob, for a great day out. Really enjoyed it.
Also many, many thanks to the gentlemen (whose names I missed, sorry!) in the TVR S and the Corrado VR6 who led the little group of four on a GREAT drive!
I never knew those Corrado's went so well - well a standard one wouldn't I know but WOW! And the S was steaming along. I suspect we may have enjoyed a little extra pace than the main group!
More of a "Dorset Dash"!
Grand fun.
So anyway - well done, Bob. Thanks!
(Nice to see you .Mark - POTBII. Oh yes!)

Thanks for organising it Bob, a good turn out with a nice variety of interesting cars. Had a great time - even if it was freezing and my handbrake finaly failed completely
As soon as we left the carpark at Upton there was a juddering from the rear, which has been happening intermitently. I think its probably the CV joint - didn't seem to do the handbrake mechanism much good though
Managed to catch up again luckily and had a good drive
Very embarrasing stalling of car ensued in the carpark at Lulworth showing up my inability to park on a slope without a handbrake
We couldn't wait until 12:30 for the Hotel to open, so walked to the Castle Inn up the road, which was quite busy.
Took a few photos that I'll put up later...

Yeah I'd like to add my praise to Bob for organising such a really good (if cold!) day out.
This was my first PH event, and you guys made us feel so welcome, even though I don't have a TVR (it was my Corrado)
I took a lot of pics today (over 60) and when I've got them hosted onto my page at webshots I'll post the link back onto this thread.
Cheers all,
John

Just got back. Karen and I had a great time. Well worth the trip to see you all. Hope to do it all again soon. Special thanks to Bob for a cracking route and to Denny for bailing us out before we had a chance to get seriously lost on the afternoon session. Also managed a nice blast back up the A31 since it was apparent, all too soon, that the motorways were full of lane hogging tailgating f
wit numpties.
Denny, perhaps you'd better stick to stationary burnouts next time mate
Maybe we'll get to appreciate some more of your fine kite flying skills next time we meet.
All the best,
Steve & Karen

Yeh err the kite

Note to self > wait for the tyres to warm up before playing

Hey Denny! You may have crashed the kite, but it was the most graceful wipeout I've ever seen
At the end of Bobs pictures and report he said that he hadn't realised how cold it was, should have come with me! I've just got the feeling back in my toes and my eyes are stinging from Marks exhaust fumes
Oh, and the picture of John's Tuscan that I had all day in my rear veiw mirror is one of the most intimidating sights I have ever seen

thanks simon
should have gone back to the shop and bought the bob the builder kite it only has one string
your not kidding about it being cold its minus 4 here at the moment
just had a roast and am now drinking lots of hot coffee
nice meeting you and the dutton was certainly different amonst all those "common" TVRS

Sorry we didn't meet in the carpark for the photos - I thought everyone was going home after the ferry.
Anyway - here are a few pics from the day

Sorry to the blue Chimaera who was following me out of Poole to get onto the A31.
It appears we had a lack of communication in the planning stage. You flashed your lights and left me about 3 miles too early.
You should have found the Wessex Way out of Bournemouth the way you went.
My wife chastised me for not communicating effectively
Hope to see you soon.
