at the end of the 84 monaco gp, daly was catching senna quicker than senna was catching prost..... according to an impartial irish friend of mine....

That would have been a good trick, Daly wasn't in the 1984 Monaco GP. He'd left F1 by the end of the 82 season.

i thought it was daly but it was bellof, not relevant to a thread about derek daly really....

Daly's last season in F1 was 1982. He was fired by Williams and went to the US to race in CART.
