Oh well after 5 years of TVRs got my first MIL light error - 88 Carbon can. Anybody know what it normally costs to get this fixed?

Can right itself so worth resetting ECU. Prone to flagging in hot weather or after thrashing/combination of both.
Mine has and did (so far, fingers crossed)

yup Brian @ Topcats has looked at it and reset the ECU (after reading error 88 - cleared MIL light after rest) and got in in there next week for a check of the can etc

Just wondering if it's 10's, 100's or 1000's?

Hi tvrforever,

I've just replaced the carbon can on my 96 Chim. The part is a GM part (GM 17093147) and cost me £42 from racing green.

Took 10 mins to fit, although it does help that the front end of my chim is missing at the mo!

The part is located in front of the off side front wheel, behind the indicator. The bible says you can access it from a panel in the engine bay(?).
