There have been many posts regarding riding in jeans & t shirt etc.
And during this hot summer Iv seen plenty of riders with their t shirts blown right up their backs, also funny how these riders have to go mad & carry out dodgy ovetakes swerve violantly around cars & obsticles, accelerate & brake hard!
Last night I witnesed a jeans rider trying to get his knee down!!
Why do all these people ride Japanese bikes?

Having crashed and realised the ONLY reason I got up and walked away was my leathers, I think the shorts and t-shirt riders have a death wish!
Having said that, I do ride in t-shirt and shorts if I'm just going up the hill into town - i.e. <30mph...
To be honest, I mostly find it's the USA riders who appear to actually think it's normal not to wear any leathers - I often visit www.gsxr.com/ and am amazed by the amount of people who go out riding fast with no protection at all

After arriving at a town in spain in heat that was well over 30 degrees we parked the bikes up and then went looking for a hotel. Found one ditched gear and had a shower.
Went to pick the bikes up in jeans and t shirts without a helmet( none of the locals were wearing them)
And it was
ing brilliant riding in that heat like that
Grated we werent going ballistic as we were jsuts rding around the town
If people want to ride in T shirts let them. If you think its dangerous dont!.

We had five pages of this a while back. If you want to do it, do it. If you don't, just let others get on with their lives. It's not hurting you, is it? Bloody Nazis

I saw a guy riding on the M5 in rush hour at high speed in just shorts, T-shirt, trainers and lid. I thought "you're crazy mate", but it's his business not mine. The fact I wouldn't do it doesn't mean he shouldn't. I admit I've done similar before now and not proud of it. Once took the opportunity to ride with no lid in Cyprus - wore just trainers and shorts just for the one-off experience. I ride in T-shirt, like others have said, only if I'm popping into town at no more than 30 max and I'm extra alert when I do it. Horses for Courses as they say.
