Sounds interesting, I spotted it in the diary in Classic and Sports Car yesterday and thought it’d be worth a look. Have you been before shadowfax? I’m just trying to work out which day will be best to go, there’ll probably be a bit more happening on Sunday do you think?

Never been before myself, Paul. But search for 'woodvale rally' and they have their own site. The bombing displays - by model aircraft that is - are at the end of each day. Both days' events seem to be same. I hear it's gonna rain tomorrow. We're off there today - mind you, we only live 15 mins away

Good event Much bigger than I was expecting. It was a bit of a struggle fitting it all into one day!! There was a good collection of pork on show from PCGB including the new 997 turbo, other highlights for me were the Testarossa and the orange (arancio atlas?) Sagaris (no pic though ) Some pics...

Now, Paul, I can honestly say I never got a single pic of any car - or engine - made after 1979

There was this beauty: Got 2nd in Show; owner found a blue rosette on his windscreen

Did you hear the Griffon 36.7Litre again?!! Had to go back today for more. Shame the Merlin had to go to a show in Leeds. Pic of the lads from yesterday:

Mind you, joy of seeing that 3500S was tempered by news that Vera seems beyond reasonable salvation. Bit choked, really

Haha! Yeah, not sure how I ended up with so many pics of the modern rubbish I only heard the Griffon from a distance sadly, the main reason for that was I didn’t have a clue where I was going and didn’t know where anything was! When I parked up, a little scout boy asked if I wanted to buy a programme, I said no at first but quickly changed my mind when he looked like he was going to cry (I bet the little git practices that look ) I just stuck it in a bag and forgot about it, only when I got home did I realise it had the full map of the show and schedule That’ll teach me!! I got this pic of the Griffon
