I have just bought a Tamora after a sufficient amount of time to forget the 3 times on the back of the breakdown truck in 6 months experience that was my Cerbera.
3 weeks in the dash ECU has been back to TVR to be reset and the neighbours have been entertained with a late night breakdown truck dismount.
Stick with it, this isn't an all TVR's are duff thread........
I am in Aberdeen with the nearest dealer 100 miles plus away so the advice I can get from here is invaluable (especially out of hours), thanks especially for Rev-erend's post (www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?p=1&f=7&t=241406&h=0) for the power failure solution though he seemed to miss the skimmed knuckles and small flash fire steps.
The way I see it is that the above has happened on previous cars I have owned (Fiat, Peugeot, etc) and for TVR's performance/price then nuts and bolts every now and then is fair enough.

hey moulder, im also in aberdeen so have the issue of a trek to the nearest dealer, saw you about 2 weeks ago in the scorching sun with the roof off and a nice roar as you pulled away from the lights at the king street/boulevard lights.
also have to agree that there are some very helpful posters on here, who without their help i'd of been stuck a couple times. offshore just now and dropped the car at dreadnought for a quick check up and wanted the wheel alignment done as the car felt twitchy above 80mph, spoke to them today and it turns out the camber settings were all out and the front wheel alignment was way out, all sorted now and they've said my car is a very clean motor under the bodywork so big smiles all round.
back on dry land tuesday and will be down to pick the beast up on wednesday hopefully.
