Scuffs from Car Cover

Hi All,

After washing the P&J this morning, i noticed a few slight dark scuffs at pressure points wher the car cover touches the bodywork. They won't come off with normal car shampoo, so i was wondering what might shift them? Perhaps some kind of mild alcohol based cleaner? But i don't want to ruin the paintwork. Any suggestions?

could dry meguair's clay bar. it usually shifts any surface marks away very easily. if the mark has indented you may need some good autoglym polish to work it out.

The cover will have scratched the paint/lacquer, You'll need a good quality fine, rubbing compound, look in yellow pages and find a place that supplies the Car body repair shops, they'll tell you what you need.
