....ITV's coverage of qualifying. Cant remember if Damon Hill won in Hungary in an Arrows?? Can anyone confirm this ridiculous notion...

Ah, thanks you for bringing that glorious memory back for me.

He was leading for a hell of a long time and then had hydraulic problems. I think it was the last or penultimate lap when Villenueve overtook him.

Happy days.

I think he was leading and he broke down on the last lap.
If i remember correctly it was a 50p bit of plastic on the throttle linkage that failed.

He did a good job fending off Villeneuve though, IIRC he had to go round Hill on the grass - fantastic race!!

Was really gutted for Hill though.

Think I might have it on video somewhere.....
