So there I was on a nice clear dual carridgeway minding my own business at about 90 MPH. Came over a crest in the road and see a police car side on across a layby in the distance, hit the brakes as soon as I saw it and slowed to 70ish. As I went past the car I noticed the guy in the passenger seat had some kind of device with what looked like two lens' on it. Have I been got do you think and do they have to stop me or should I expect a litlle present in the post over the next 14 days?

Sounds like you should be OK if you slowed down quickly enough. You'll know for sure in a cupla weeks.

2 lenses ... not a pair of binoculars was it?

Sounds like they had a hand held laser, i,ve seen it on the A34 a couple of times in a volvo and also with a couple of bikes mounted on a tripod, If they were going to nick you I think you will find they need to do it there and then.

Sounds like the Lti20/20 Speedscope. They would not have to nick you there and then if they had the video camera attachment on it.

If you do end up getting a NIP, i can recommend a website to stop you from getting another under the same circumstances

www.snooper.co.uk - look under the SLD920 Laser Blinder.

Bangin' piece of kit!
