What would you do for your next car if that were to be the scenario in the coming 12-18months?

Dunno what I'd do.

I'd consider a Mustang I think but possibly go European.

A new Mustang for now, followed by one of these when it comes out

I guess that's cheating somewhat, as the Camaro probably won't see production until '08 and even then won't be an official import. But then neither is the 'Stang

Back to Marcos I think

What else is there with a decent V8?

My rule, is never own a car that... when you meet another one coming the other way, you don't flash your headlights & wave.

Follow that and you'll not go wrong

Me neither!

But when I do, I shall be flashing (headlights only ) & waving like a loon!

Doesn't matter what car you have, good or bad, as long as you have some bond with fellow drivers.

All the local mags here are saying the Camaro design is based on the next Monaro. And that the Camaro is beinf design and developed here in Oz based on the Monaro.

I only read whats said here - I wonder what the US says?

Hmmm, what to believe?

The concept was built on a Corvette C5 chassis, but the production car will use the Zeta platform (aka Commodore). I guess it could be developed in Australia but built in the US (well, Canada actually, where the old Camaro was built.

I don't car where it's built, just build it and sell it here!
