Waterless detailers?

Has anyone on here used this company? With a hosepipe ban, it can get challenging to keep the car clean in the South East!

Not used them; there was a report in Auto Express a little while agao that featured them.

Think they work out expensive. Why not just use a waterless cleaner yourself? I do. Just have to be a little thoughtful and careful to make sure that you use it properly.

Halfords are offering a hozelock device that you pump up for 5 litres of water sprayed out like a hosepipe. Been using that and it works a treat. I think thats valid even in the new hosepipe bans because its self contained, portable and the same as a bucket.

I saw that, and was wondering about it. The thing I like about the waterless cleaner though is that it also waxes as it cleans.

OK, I still use the proper polishes and waxes regularly, but with the cleaner it takes no longer than washing the car but does also leave it very, very shiney. And of course with wax protection.

There was a ram raid at my local dry cleaners, a Tiv crashed through the window and straight into a large industrial cleaning machine. When it stopped tumbling around the driver (who was still in the car) looked somewhat shaken and the paint was a bit Nitromors'd, but it hadn't used any water..........
