Hi all

When I load a continous mix CD (but split into 12 tracks) onto my PC HD, the software I am using (Music Match Jukebox) is unable to identify that the CD should be played without any gaps between the tracks.

The outcome of this is that you get into a really good House CD with a wicked mix comming in and it breaks for 3 seconds as the track list number changes before continuing.

I've looked all over the software and in the help section but can't find any options to turn the break off

Can anyone help?

Hmm. Does it have anything marked "Cross-fade between tracks" listed or something like "pre-load next track"?

A lot of audio players seem to insert a 2 second pause between tracks and cross-fading between them or just stitching the MP3's together in something like audacity has been the only way around it. I could belive that it takes a momment to open and read a chunk of the next MP3 but not 2-3 whole seconds on a modern machine...

What software do you use to rip the disks? And does it have an option to rip time instead of tracks , so you could tell it to say start at 00:00 and go to the end of the disk in one chunk THEN rename it?

I'm using Juke Box it's self to load the cds. As it puts artist and title on the track I'd like to keep the tracks seperate to keep this.

I was just hoping that someone might know as you say if it has a xfade function or some such other

Hmm... a few complaints from google. Looks like old versions did x-fade but new ones don't be default.

The only thing I can find on the Musicmatch site about adding plug-ins is "Check out the latest plug-ins offered by opening your Musicmatch Jukebox and choosing 'Options/Add New Features' from the main menu." Perhaps they have a 'mix' or 'x-fade' one in there? I'll keep looking for a 3rd party one just in case.
