Calling S owners in Kent

Any of you go to the TVRCC mid-Kent meets?
I've been to a couple of the SE London/NW Kent ones but there are never any other S's there.
How about a mini gathering at the Mid Kent meet on 16th? Any one interested?
Never been to this meet before, its somewhere in Hollingbourne so should be central for most.

Wednesday the 16th at the Windmill in Hollingbourne. I could do that. Who else then?...seen several S's around our way.

Location is the Windmill pub at Hollingbourne (nr. Maidstone) Post code ME17 1TR

Looks like we may have a small (but high quality, I'm sure) turnout of S's.
Dunno what time the meet normally kicks off at. Suggest we aim for 7.30 ish.

last time i was out on a tvr meet was canterbury up to whitstable last year when my s1 was white with 1 red door and a green boot lid its all one colour now a nice metalic blue...looks a bit more presentable just needs the roof and interier sorting but im getting there...slowley....

Not been to the Mid Kent meet for about 2 years now but last time I heard it was still at the windmill on the wednesday, although the Sunday meet isn't at the white horse anymore even though it still says so in Sprint.

Normally kicked off about 8pm as far as I can remember.

Good to see you all this evening, sorry I could not hang around, but I had a really early start next day, but look forward to a beer next time. Well what happened to the rest of the Mid Kent region? There were only 4 tivs there and they were all S's.

Yes, it was great to meet you guys.
It makes a change to go to a meet where the S's outnumber all the other Tiv's but 4-0 is a bit silly (just like the football!).
Maybe we ought to try and get a larger crowd together and vist the SE London/NW Kent meet where we certainly won't outnumber them but could at least remind them that older Tiv's have a small but enthusiastic following.

a good selection of s types at least mine looked a bit more presentable nice to meet you all look forward to doing it again... i think the main tvr club meeting was in the phone box opposite the pub...

Been reading this thread with interest but couldn't get out to the meet yesterday.

I think I have the only S in the NW Kent / SE London group but must say everyone there is totally complimentary about the S's. They would however I'm sure love to see a few more of them about. At the Bromley Pageant this year mine was the only one available to show and was set to take pride of place until it ended up in the garage thanks to the old engine mountings / sump / anti roll bar combo

Anyway's they're a great bunch of guys and girls and I have no doubt would be welcoming to all. I only wish I could keep up with the social calendar that is organised..... I'm beginning to think I'll have to readjust the limited mileage policy!

Any TVR owner or fan of the marque is made more than welcome at our meets - it just happens that not many of the locals own S's.

S owners (at the time)Tripps, Pies & Keithboy were three of the founding fathers of our region & helped us make it is what it is today, Tallis is a regular new boy as he said.

Please come & join us any time you like, but please dont worry if you are driving the only S there amongst 30 other Tivs - you will probably find people make more of a fuss of your car than any of the others

Our next meet is on Bank Holiday Monday evening, & we will be at The Woodman in Ide Hill in the afternoon (see the events forum) but for the first Sunday meet we wont be at the usual spot as the Tuscans are at Brands Hatch & we will be there mob handed (after a fat breakfast at The Oakdene Cafe)
