Hmmm. I thought Webber was a shoe-in for Renault next season, given that they need someone who can actually drive an F1 car quickly as a team-mate for Captain Slow Fisichella.

Surely they can't risk Kovaleinen?? (I know he beat MS at The Race of Champions but still.....)

Maybe they've got Kimi after all. I still can't see a Kimi-Schumacher line up at Ferrari - I'm not convinced Schumacher will retire this year and I don't think Kimi would stand for being his team mate either....

I'm glad they renewed DCs contract, he has done a good job for them and deserves it. It will be interesting to see who is the quicker of the two.

Didn't see that one coming. He must've gotten turned down for Renault then, no way you'd choose RBR in preference.

What's wrong with RBR for 2007? Think about it... chassis by Newey and engine by Renault - it's got to be one of the strongest packages around!

Wonder why they're so keen to swap the Ferrari engines for Renault. Schumacher looked pretty impressive down the straight against de la Rosa's McLaren.

Who knows whether that is because of aero or engine?

I reckon they'd be doing well to be the fourth best team next year. I'd be happy to be surprised though; I'd love to see Coulthard win again.

Good point, but surely there's not that big a difference in output?

Can't be cost, as they'll still be paying for the engines anyway.

But how much of that is due to the flexible diffuser that Ferrari are running?...and I guess RBR may be a little worried that their customer engines may be a tad down on power compared to the factory units....
