Does anyone have a definitive answer as to how long speeding points stay on your licence for, for totting up purposes?? I keep hearing different views...3 or 4 years.
When I called up Dorset police, the lady who answered didn't know!

Also was in Truro today, and saw 3 new speed cameras being put up......so the new wave are certainly upon us, + very flourescent!!

They count to the law for 3 years and can be removed from the license after 4 years.

If its a drink or drug driving offense it stays on for 10 years to the law and 11 to the license.

Correct, but insurers still want to know about anything in the last 5 years.
