My wedge

Had to use the wedge today for a variety of 'normal' tasks around Hertfordshire as we are moving tommorow and the missus has the Focus. I'm happy as the car didn't miss a beat all day, sitting in traffic, etc! Got a lot more confidence in it now. The temperature in traffic sits just below the red but the fan kicks in and it seems to run quite happily. The fan doesn't seem to lower the temperature at all but keeps it the same, is this normal? Once underway it soon drops back down to around 90.

At least the fans stop the temperature increasing! Maybe the set point is only just above the running temp so it wouldn't drop the temp any?
