Finally bought one!

Well I've taken the plunge and agreed to buy a 348tb subject to it passing a PPI at Greypaul! Pics to follow shortly.

Anything I should make sure the dealer checks out properly for my piece of mind? History seems very comprehensive and has every MOT certificate with it so mileage also checks out.

I bought a 355 from GrayPaul and was glad I opted to get the RAC (they have sepcialists on call) to check it out first - they found numerous problems that GrayPaul had missed... Sorry, not trying to worry you just that it sometimes pays to get an independant involved.

It's not actually from Greypaul just having it taken there as its the nearest dealer. They did sell it previously however.

Make sure the cam belt change has been done recently as that's a £1500 - £2000 job.

Agreed, try and get a real enthusiast to check to car rather than just a junior technician. If you are using Grey paul, ask who the workshop manager is and ask him to check it personally and sign off on the inspection sheet.

To anyone in responsibility, signing is a great way to focus the mind!
