Mid Essex Convoy XXXVIIII

It's that time of the month again... the second Sunday of the month, which means it's time for the Mid-Essex TVRCC meet… so this coming Sunday 13th August means it's convoy time

The vast majority of you will now the drill by now so we'll be meeting at the White Hart as usual from about 11:00, with the aim of leaving at 12:00 to make some noise through the roads of Essex to go and get some pie at Great Totham.


How do I get to the White Hart..?

1) Take the A12 towards Colchester

2) Turn off at J19 (Boreham) – keep in the left-hand lane.

3) Take the 2nd exit (the first takes you to the Royal Mail sorting office!)

4) Follow the road, it turns to a 40mph

5) The White Hart is on your left a few hundred yards further on.

6) If you get to the roundabout, you have gone too far..!

Okay Folks it's time to rock and roll again.

Reeso is a.w.o.l. this month so Shawn (Tegriffic) will be taking on the reins of the Southend AND White Hart convoys.

He will also be promoted from his recent dizzy heights of Member of the Month to standing in as RO as I don't know whether Diane will be a.w.o.l. too!!!

Me...I'm DEFINATELY a.w.o.l. cos I'm off to the land of the Rising Sun on Thursday.

However, I will be doing a newsletter tonight as usual but please forgive it being a much smaller missive this month.......... lots to do and not much time left.
I've only just got in from work....

Please post up for Shawn if you will be at the White Hart/ Forresters....

Shawn ...Diane WILL be at the Forresters to meet and greet anyone not in the convoy....so you are not ROing alone mate.

We will NOT insist that you wear a dress or skirt...allthough I have to admit that I would be tempted to cancel my trip just to witness it if I thought you might be tempted!

I know that some of you are GP mastering, but from what I've heard there will still be lots going to the Meet....so...Roll Up!!!!

Good news, Lucas is in a forward facing car seat, and at 6 months old... Woooo hooo. Why am I sooooo happy you may ask... Cus, he can now ride in the Cerby in the car seat!!!!.

Now, there is always a downside, and that is, I still am Cerbyless so I will have to wait till next month to bring him along.

To think he might not even apprecate the ride!!!!!!

Normally it's me, GreenGriff, Griffsmith, FatBoyChim and Seasider (normally late). We've had Fire99 join us and Phantastic is too this weekend. Don't think we'll be doing breakfast cos the weathers not 100% but can see no reason why we can't reinstate brekkie for the next meet. Worth doing that just to make Seasider have to get there early.

We're not staying at the meet all afternoon as we are shooting up to Hunstanton for a few days, I do love to get to the coast now and again.

Phantastic, email me if you are not clear where we are meeting.
