Full Day Advanced Driving Experience from Ride Drive
Worth over £250 and valid until 31st August 2007
Over the Growl weekend we were raising money for a very deserving cause which is close to our hearts (particularly Jeffsy and Sarah) – the MS Society.
We’ve done a fantastic job raising money over the weekend and now we have a further chance to build on our success. One of the prizes from the BBQ Prize Draw was a half-day Advanced Driving Experience donated by our very good friends at Ride Drive. The lucky winner was Billie McGaulick, the niece of fellow Growler’s, Mary & Graham Davidson.
Billie has very kindly donated the prize back to us so that it can be auctioned off for our Growl Charity – what a lovely and thoughtful gesture from someone so young… When Ride Drive heard about the Charity Auction of their donated prize, they generously upgraded it to a FULL DAY experience…
It’s very much appreciated and we’re going to auction it off exclusively on PH through a process of CLOSED bids.
So, the auction opens here and now …
What you need to do:
You should email your closed bids to me (via my profile) by 16:00 hours on Friday 18th August.
You need to say in your email:
- how much you’re happy to pay for this fantastic prize (this should be your maximum amount – it’s not eBay so you only bid once!)
- your name, address and phone number
Make sure you include the word [bold]BID[bold] somewhere in the subject heading.
Any bids received after this time will not be accepted.
No bids will be opened before the Charity Auction closes (so please don’t bother asking me! – I cannot be bribed…
Now it’s down to you guys to make this work – so dig deep and be very very generous. Just bear in mind what a good cause this is for, how much this experience day is worth plus think of how much you will learn on the day itself which will help you appreciate and enjoy your Tiv even more.

Graham Jeffs was the lucky winner who said in his bid email that he was bidding what it was worth - he didn't want it to go for anything less! So thank you very much from the bottom of my heart!
