Difference between FZ6 Fazer and FZ6?

Following on from my thread about the SV650s, I have also noticed that Yamaha are doing a couple of good deals on the Fazer 6 and the FZ6. What's the difference between these two then? From Yamaha's website, all I can see is that one has more plastic than the other! Surely there is more to it, apart from nearly £1k of difference?

I have the FZ6 and i park next to the unfaired version.

The FZ6 appears to be a meatier bike. I absolutley love it. I've had it for 2 months now, and with my cars i'd be yawning by now, the bike just keeps on giving.

Pretty much the same machine, although I have not checked the gear ratios which sometimes vary between faired/unfaired variants of the same model, if you need comfort at high speed then the faired version will suit you. Yes the Yamaha deals are superb, no apparent catch!
