We have arranged (via the TVRCC forum) to meet up with Norbert500 (and hopefully some others) on Tuesday evening (Tues 15 Aug) at the Woodman's Arms near Newport. It would be great to see a few others there too

Hi Adam, I would love to make it and bring my S2 but I`m working
. Which ferry company are you using to make the crossing? if you are going over from Southampton on Red Funnel ask to be put on the lower deck saying you have ground clearance problems. Hope you have a good time mate.steve j said:

Shame you are unable to meet, but that's work for you.

However, I ground out on anything bigger than a mole hill - especially with all the Wife's luggage which means roof will probably have to be on for the journey
So looking forward to it. Not had a proper holiday for ages (not counting Zolder) and the fact I get to take the S is a bonus

Was on the IOW 2 weeks ago in a red V8S, beautiful motoring roads over there. Went red funnel and had no issues on the upper deck. High point was when a guy with rasterfarian dreadlocks driving a 3 series convertable, came over to me as we had just finished loading onto the ferry and said "cool wheels man"
Hi,
I regret that 97 Octane is no longer available on the IOW (it was withdrawn earlier this year) I fuel mine with 95 and a bottle of octane booster - she seems to run better on this mix than on 97 Octane anyway.
What time on Tuesday are you planning to meet? I may try and come along.
Cheers
Graham
