Service schedules for Griffs - Advice for poss newbie

Evening all,
Have been looking at a Griff for sale at an Independent dealer. The car is low mileage but needed a service 2 years ago time-wise. It had only done 2k since last service but appears to have sat in the dealership for the best part of a year. I think I may be able to guess most of the replies but would be grateful for your thoughts.

I can understand the situation. My Griff has just gone to a dealer on sale-or-return and it is due for a service right now. Obviously, the dealer will service it as part of the sale, but not before it's sold. This could mean it is a few weeks(hopefully!) late.

I have to say though, that I would worry about the service being two years late - simply because it's something you'll have to explain when you come to sell it on.
